This course runs parallel to AP Physics in Bay Area Schools
Aims to build strong foundation of AP Physics and prepare students for Subject SAT

Basic to advanced concepts laid out via historical narrative and through the eyes of the giants who formulated them. For example the development of kinematics and gravitation via the challenges and struggles of Newton, Copernicus etc.
Emphasis laid on mastering not only the concepts but also the correct approach to solving mathematical and descriptive problems – to prepare the students for competitive examinations such as SAT or AP Physics.
Problems and concepts related to real life situations and applications, such as intersection of games like angry birds and projectile motion.
Problems and concepts related to interdisciplinary world, for example applications in calculus and astronomy.

An introductory course running in parallel to Chemistry Honors and AP Chemistry in Bay Area Schools.
Aims to prepare students for Subject SAT and pave the foundation for AP Chemistry.

Basic to advanced concepts laid out via historical narrative and through the eyes of the giants who formulated them. For example the development of atomic structure explained via the respective journeys, challenges and postulates of Dalton, Bohr, Rutherford leading to Quantum Mechanics of Schrodinger etc.
Emphasis laid on mastering not only the concepts but also the correct approach to solving mathematical and descriptive problems – to prepare the students for competitive examinations such as SAT or AP Chemistry.
Experiments conducted using Thames and Kosmos kits to further cement understanding regarding complex concepts, for instance, doing titration to understand acid-base neutralization reactions etc.

Aims to prepare students for SAT, Math Olympiads and pave the foundation for Pre-calculus.

Problems and concepts related to interdisciplinary world, for example applications in physics, astronomy etc.
